Ulster County Man Arrested on Felony Drug Charges

A Kingston man was arrested and charged for MDMA and marijuana possession. 

Tyrel M. Swan, 31, of Kingston, NY was found to be in possesstion of MDMA and marijuana. MDMA, also known as Ecstasy or Molly, is a psychoactive drug that is used for it's euphoric effects.

State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation, Swan was the passenger in the vehicle at the time. Swan was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth-Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Swan was arraigned in the Town of Catskill court and remanded to Green County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
