The Metal Box is a weekly web series posted each Friday where we discuss all things hard rock and heavy metal: news, videos, interviews, live concerts and more.

This week, we talk with Poison drummer Rikki Rockett. We cover a lot of topics including the band's 30th anniversary tour with Tesla coming to Times Union Center in Albany, NY on May 9, the possibility of new Poison music, and a whole lot more. Watch video above.

Rikki Rockett and his band Poison had great success in the mid 1980’s through the 1990’s selling over 50 million records worldwide with 15 million alone sold in the Unites States. The album was the band’s most successful release with four hit singles: ‘Nothin’ but a Good Tim’, ‘You’re Mama Don’t Dance’, ‘Fallen Angel’, and ‘Every Rose Has It’s Thorn’. It Peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and sold 5 million copies.
