The Next Step in Food Delivery?

The thought of having your grilled cheese sandwich delivered by parachute probably sounds absurd, but an Australian entrepreneur wants to make this a reality in New York City (and maybe here in the surrounding areas as well). The Australian based grilled cheese company known as Jafflechutes (Grilled cheese sandwiches are known as jaffles in Australia) wants to bring the product to America. It's simple...you order your sandwich, then stand on a designated X in your part of town, and the grilled cheese will be parachuted down to you.

Ridiculous? Yes...but maybe we could have avoided our Cinco Deserto cupcake disaster here at the station yesterday, if we simply had the cupcakes dropped by parachute
