Mo Wilkerson is a very rich man.

The NY Daily News reports that the New York Jets defensive end agreed to a long term extension with the team on Friday. The move comes right before the deadline for long term deals for franchise players.

NFL.com says that Wilkerson's extension will pay him about $17 million per year for five seasons.

Wilkerson will now be paid more than Houston's J.J. Watt.

The 26 year-old Wilkerson lead the Jets with 12 sacks in 2015.
