Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect For Parts of the Hudson Valley
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 12 a.m. Tuesday for parts of central and eastern New York state. including areas in the Hudson Valley and Catskills.
This includes
ALBANY, COLUMBIA, DELAWARE, DUTCHESS, ESSEX, FRANKLIN, FULTON, GREENE, HAMILTON, HERKIMER, MONTGOMERY, OTSEGO, RENSSELAER, SARATOGA, SCHENECTADY
SCHOHARIE, ST. LAWRENCE, SULLIVAN, ULSTER, WARREN, and WASHINGTON Counties.
Heavy thunderstorms have been moving across the western parts of the state Monday, and are expected to reach the Hudson Valley by this evening.
Heavy rain and gusty winds are possible as the storms move across the region.
