School Inadvertently Sends “Hurt Feelings Report” to Parents

A school's sarcastic joke, that was accidentally sent to parents in an email, is now forcing their administrators to apologize.

The incident happened at Lombardy Elementary School in Wilmington, Delaware. According to NBC Philadelphia, the form was meant to make fun of sensitive people.

The "Hurt Feelings Report" was accidentally attached as a file by a staff member in an email to parents about upcoming school events. The "report" refers to those who complain as "whiners", and includes such sections as "I am a wimp", "I am a crybaby", and "I have woman/man-like hormones".

A spokesperson for the Brandywine School District told reporters:

The attachment was something that had been sent to them from a person external to the school. It was not an official document of Lombardy Elementary or the Brandywine School District. This was an embarrassing mistake, but it was just that – a mistake. It should not have happened, and we apologize for the error.
