Poughkeepsie Trump Supporters in 7 Words

We asked people attending the Donald Trump rally in Poughkeepsie to explain to us in just seven words why they're voting Trump.

While it may seem like a simple question, our on-the-street interview tended to be a challenge for some. Some Donald Trump supporters were very passionate about their candidate, so staying to just seven words was difficult. Others came up just a little short under pressure, while the rest had a really hard time just figuring out how to count the words that were coming out of their mouths.

For the most part, the Trump supporters had the same good sense of humor about our questions as the Bernie Sanders supporters who were ambushed by our own "Bernie Sandwich" at Marist College last week.

As for the rest of the scene in Poughkeepsie, we captured even more sights and sounds of the Trump supporters as they took over Main Street and the Mid Hudson Civic Center on Sunday.
