Police: Student Dragged Almost Half a Mile by School Bus in Western NY

Fremont, NY- A student was dragged by a school bus for nearly a half mile, after getting her back-pack snagged in the door, according to State Police.

Luckily the female student is fine, and only suffered minor injuries to her foot.

The incident happened around 3:30 pm, the bus was transporting her from her school. the student was dragged 4 tenths of a mile, before the driver realized she was stuck.

The State police are investigated the incident along with Bureau of Criminal Investigations
