Police: Sobriety Checkpoint Leads to Three Arrests
A sobriety checkpoint led to two DWI arrests and one drug possession charge in Dutchess County on Saturday.
On Saturday March 25th, the New York State Police conducted a DWI sobriety checkpoint on State Route 22 in the Town of Pawling on Saturday.
During the detail the following arrests were made, according to a press release:
Micheal Conway, 50 of Wingdale, was arrested for DWI. During which Conway refused to provide a breath sample.
Bredan Clark, 20, of Brewster, NY was arrested for DWI. Clark provided a breath sample that indicated he had a .13% BAC, nearly two times the legal limit.
In addition to the DWI arrests there was one arrest made for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
All subjects were issued tickets to appear in the Town of Pawling Court early next month.
