A father and son from Ulster County involved in fight, son leaves in handcuffs. 

On Friday, Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call reporting a fight taking place between two men. Once police arrived on the the scene, officers identified the two males.

Dell DeAngelis Jr. and Dell DeAngelil Sr., father and son were the two men involved in the altercation. Police established that there was a No Harass Order of Protection in place between the father and son.

Police also learned that there was an ongoing dispute between the two, and DeAngelis Jr. had assaulted his father earlier in the day. Dell DeAngelis Jr. was taken into custody based on the earlier and current incident police were investigating.

Dell DeAngelis Jr. was charged with two Felonies of Criminal Contempt of a Court Order in the first-degree, and Assault in the third-degree. He was further charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration for physically resisting officers, preventing them from taking his fingerprints while being processed.

DeAngelis Jr. was arraigned and sent to Ulster County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. The Order of Protection was updated to a Full Stay-Away-Order of Protection on behalf of the father.

DeAngelis Jr. is due back in court this week to answer to his charges.
