Police: Dutchess County Man Arrested For Burglary
A Dutchess County man is facing felony charges, after being arrested for burglary.
Columbia County 911 dispatched troopers from the Livingston barracks, to a burglary on Elm Street in the Town of Livingston on October 19, at approximately 7:10 pm.
Troopers arrived shortly after the suspect had left and were informed that the suspect was familiar to the victim.
A continued investigation led to the arrest of Steven T. Beers, age 27, of Pine Plains, NY for Burglary second-degree, a Class C Felony.
Beers was arraigned in the Town of Livingston Justice Court and he was remanded to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2.500 cash bail, or $5,000 bond.
Beers is scheduled to return to court next month.
