Your daily commute could get pricier if it includes riding a Metro-North railroad.

CBS New York reports that the MTA Board is expected to approve parking permit fee increases. The increases are expected to happen at 25 different Metro-North facilities. Metro-North Railroad is looking to increase its non-fare revenue, by increasing annual parking permit fees across the 25 facilities by an average of 13 cents per year. The proposed rate hikes will increase Metro-North Railroad's non-fare revenue by $965,000 annually.

Parking fee increases are proposed for the mid-Hudson Valley at the Poughkeepsie, Beacon, Cold Spring, and Garrison stations. The increases will not affect Orange and Rockland County stations. It will affect Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester County stations. Poughkeepsie could see a 12-month permit rate increase from $358 to $394.
