One World Trade Center to Be Lit Blue & Orange to Support Syracuse Women’s Basketball Team

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday that the lights on One World Trade Center's 408-foot spire will light up blue and orange this evening to support Syracuse University's women's basketball team in the NCAA championship.

The Syracuse women's team will take on UCONN tonight at 8:30 P.M. at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

According to a Press Release, Governor Cuomo said:

There’s no denying that the UConn women are a force to be reckoned with – but with the resilience the Syracuse women have shown, I have a feeling there’s one more upset left in this season. People doubted the Orange earlier in the tournament – only to be proven wrong by a team that defied the odds to earn a trip to the Final Four for the first time in program history. I wish the best of luck to Coach Q and the women’s team in the final game of what has already been a season for the ages
