
Newburgh Man Murdered, Another Shot Twice, Police Say
There is a reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the murder of a Newburgh man.
On September 21, at approximately 11:15 p.m., an unknown person shot multiple times in the area of Liberty Street and Clinton Street, in the City of Newburgh. An 18-year-old male was shot twice, receiving non-fatal injuries.
Amed Roberto Alvarado-Baquedano, a 35-year-old father of two was fatally shot. Mr. Albarado-Baquedano was celebrating the birthday of a family member down the street from where the shooting occurred.
The City of Newburgh Police Department and the ATF are offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting of the 18-year-old male and the murder of Mr. Albarado-Baquedano.
