Newburgh Man Dies In Early Morning Crash

A Newburgh man was killed in a motor vehicle accident early Monday morning. 

The crash in currently under investigation, and it is unclear at this time if the weather or road conditions played a role in the accident. The crash is being investigated by the Town of New Windsor Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Richard Carlucci, 24, of Newburgh. According to a press release, Carlucci was heading north on River Road, when his vehicle went off the shoulder, and overturned before coming to a stop.

The crash was not reported until 7 am, however police believe that the crash happened earlier in the morning.

Carlucci was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
