New York State Parks Hiring 1,000 Summer Lifeguards
Looking for a summer job or know someone who is? Say no more.
New York Upstate reports that New York State parks are hiring...lifeguards to be specific. They're actually looking for over 1,000 lifeguards to staff their beaches and pools.
If you're interested, there are some requirements you must meet. Like the successful completion of a qualifying test that includes the demonstration of swimming, lifesaving, and CPR skills. You know, basic lifeguard stuff. New York Upstate says you can find more information on the New York State Parks website.
New York Upstate says that the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation oversees more than 250 parks, historic sites, golf courses, boat launches, and trails.
