My Lost Treasure: The Allman Brothers

We are building a city on My Lost Treasure, and we are surrounding our city with mountains. One of my favorite things about living in the Hudson Valley is that no matter where you look, you see mountains. That is what I want for this city. Today's treasure is a long one, but it's a great one.

We have already used Donovan's There Is A Mountain. In fact, we kicked off the mountain part of this theme with it. It's a great song, and apparently the Allman Brothers thought so too. That's the song that started the whole jam. And the title of today's treasure also became the name of one of the biggest music festivals in the country, Mountain Jam, which is held right in our area at Hunter Mountain.

My goal is to take this theme to Thanksgiving. That's when we can add our last restaurant to the city, and close out the theme with a Thanksgiving classic. So, I'll need some ideas for songs to help build the city. If you have any, let me know at robyn@wpdh.com. Thanks, and have a great weekend!
