My Lost Treasure: Joni Mitchell

We are working on a letter theme here on My Lost Treasure. It's like the Letter Game from The Boris and Robyn Show. Only different. We are doing a week for each letter. This week we are playing songs that start with the letter F.

I have always loved the song Free Man In Paris, but once I learned that it is about Joni Mitchell's friend music promoter David Geffen, and how he was able to escape his busy life while he was in Paris I liked it even more. It has a great melody, and as I just mentioned, personal lyrics. Joni's health has failed her in the past few years, but I'm always hoping for a full recovery and, if possible, a future of more performing.
