My Lost Treasure: Happy Birthday Leslie West

Today is Oct. 22, and Mountain's Leslie West turns 73 today. The truth is, I have interviewed Leslie West a few times, and none of them were easy. He's a bit of a curmudgeon and a bit of a wise guy, but he's a really talented musician.

Today's lost treasure, in honor of Leslie's birthday, is one of my favorite songs. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's because it brings back so many great memories. Or maybe it's because it's a great song. Either way, it's always a treat for me when I hear it. And we get a lot of requests to hear it, we always have. So hopefully, you'll like it too.

Happy Birthday, Leslie West. I wish you had been a little nicer to me during those interviews, but I forgive you. I'd like to think it built some character. Anyway, I hope it's a good day for you, and thanks for this song. It will always be one of my favorites.
