Monday January 19th: Rock n Roll Birthdays, Remembering Janis Joplin

Today (January 19th) we remember Janis Joplin, who would have been 72. We lost Janis from a drug overdose in October 1970 at the age of 27. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. Other birthdays include original Deep Purple singer Rod Evans (68), Current Foreigner bassist/ex Dokken Jeff Pilson (56), and singer Whitfield Crane of Ugly Kid Joe (47).
