It was very hot and humid on Monday.  There were some bad storms that came through the Hudson Valley, we shot some video of those storms.

Tuesday and Wednesday look like a better day, should be more like last week’s weather.  Lower humidity, with plenty of sunshine.  Those storms could still be hanging around during the early morning hours on Tuesday.  Our next chance of rainfall comes in late Wednesday and Thursday.  A low-pressure system looks like it will cross the plains and swing into the region.  That forecast track is uncertain, but it’s clear the high pressure system controlling our weather will be sliding off the coast and away from the Hudson Valley.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday:  A chance of showers or thunderstorms before 8am.  Otherwise, cloudy through mid-morning, then gradual clearing.  High near 84.

Tuesday:  Clear, low around 57.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny, high near 79.
