In addition to everything on this list, we can also add some of the best beer and breweries to what New York State is known for.

Yes, it’s true! Not only is New York State home to some of the best of the best, but the Hudson Valley is as well. We’re lucky to have so many incredible cideries, wineries and breweries right in our area.

Now we can congratulate these beloved Hudson Valley breweries on their latest accomplishment in 2026. Join me in doing that!

Congratulations To These Orange County, NY Superstar Breweries On Their Latest Win

According to a recent press release, Apex Brewery in Monroe, NY has won a gold medal for their Kölsch Kömmander at the New York State Craft Beer Competition! This medal was in the Gold and Blonde Ales section of the contest.Off of the The New York State Craft Beer Competition website, we were also able to see which other Orange County brewery was included in the spotlight.

Drowned Lands Brewery in Warwick, NY has won a silver medal for their Gather House beer at the New York State Craft Beer Competition! This medal was in the Wheat Beer section of the contest. They also scored the bronze medal for their Amai in the Belgian Other section too!

Let’s also give some love to Two Farms Brewing in Bloomingburg, NY! They are also celebrating some wins from the New York State Craft Beer Competition. Off of the same website, we can also see that this Sullivan County, NY brewery scored the bronze medal for their Snapping Branches beer in the Experimental section of the contest.
