Do You Have What it Takes To Beat Joey Chestnut in a Donut Eating Contest?

At the beginning of Baseball season the Hudson Valley Renegades announced that competitive eater Joey Chestnut would be making an appearance at a game this year.

Chestnut will be on hand at Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls on Friday July 31st, 2026 when the Renegades take on Jersey Shore.

The Hudson Valley Renegades are giving fans a chance to "compete against Joey Chestnut in our Cider Donut Eating Contest."

You can enter on their website and the winner will get a "once-in-a-lifetime shot at going head-to-head with the legend himself."

Joey Chestnut Stats: How'd He Do at The 2026 Hot Dog Eating Competition?

Now, before you pull the trigger and sign up for the donut eating contest...lets take a look at Mr. Chesnut's stats.

This year Chestnut housed 66 hots dogs and buns in 10 minutes at the 2026 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest making it his 18th win.

According to Major League Eating "Joey Chestnut is the greatest eater in history." Not only does he take down all those hot dogs, but he holds world records for a "wide variety of foods stuffs."

When it comes to donuts, Joey Chestnut holds the official Major League Eating record for Glazed Donuts eating 70, 3 ounce glazed donuts in 8 minutes.

He didn't stop there. Chestnut "set an additional world record by consuming 69 apple cider donuts in 5 minutes."

Food Contest Around the Hudson Valley

If you've ever wanted to try an eating contest, there are a few places in the region that give you the opportunity to.
