This week on In Touch, I speak with Krista Collopy, Senior Regional Director of Comfort Zone Camp. Besides being an amazing program that offers all of the traditional activities like playing games, sports, rock climbing, archery, camping, arts and crafts, bonfires, s'mores and more, Comfort Zone Camp’s main mission is to support families who are grieving the death of a loved one. While having fun in a camp setting, participants also acquire the tools and skills to help cope with their loss.

Krista was once a camper and talks about her personal experience in the program and how it helped after the loss of her dad. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Comfort Zone Camp offers meaningful opportunities that can forever impact the lives of those who attend. Krista talks about how Comfort Zone Camp is bringing their expertise to the Hudson Valley with an event in Fishkill later this year.
