Hudson, NY Wine Store Holds Grand Opening Soirée

We always love to see when a Hudson Valley business is flourishing and making big moves in the community. In celebration of their latest move, Grapefruit Wines is hosting their grand opening soirée for their new location on Friday, April 26th!

Nestled between Kitty's restaurant and The Caboose, Grapefruit Wines’ new location brings another layer of hospitality to South Front Street, allowing guests to buy wine and spirits on the go or immediately enjoy their bottle purchases with their dinner at Kitty’s or in the restaurant’s expansive backyard. Just like its original location, this Grapefruit exudes character, dotted with playful touches like a one-of-a-kind garden hose chandelier crafted by talented local artist Justin Cooper. The original wood floors from the 19th Century coal barn that once stood in its place have been preserved and refurbished, complemented by sleek copper countertops and expansive windows that let in plenty of natural light.

At Grapefruit, they sell wines (and spirits, cider, amari, aperitifs, etc.) that we like to drink and that we think you’ll like to drink, too. Their wines are what some call “natural”; Grapefruit likes to think of them as wines made carefully, with the understanding that wine is a product of farming and people. The wines are above all delicious. And their wines taste really great with chicken, which you can find next door at Kitty's!

To celebrate the move from Warren Street to South Front Street, Grapefruit Wines will host a special version of its Friday Apero Hour on Friday, April 26th from 4-8pm with open bottles of wine, light bites from Kitty’s, and a DJ set. The event is free and open to the public, and all guests will receive 20% off of their next purchase at the store.
