A Hudson Valley town is featured in Metallica's new box set 'Kill 'Em All' which will be released on Record Store Day on April 15th.

Metallica will release remastered editions of their first two albums 'Kill 'Em All' and 'Ride the Lightning' on Record Store Day. The band has recently posted videos of band members unboxing the sets to show fans all that's included.

Watching the video of James Hetfield opening the 'Kill 'Em All' box set, you may notice that one of the CD's is from a performance in Middletown, NY in January 1984 at J Bees Rock III.

What's interesting about that particular performance, is that Metallica had their equipment stolen prior to the show and had to use Anthrax's equipment. Metallica performed a seven song set list:

  1. The Four Horsemen
  2. Jump in the fire
  3. Fight Fire with Fire
  4. Ride the Lightning
  5. Phantom Lord
  6. Seek and Destroy
  7. Whiplash

The box set is full of records, rare photos, Cd's, and more. Here is the video of James Hetfield opening the 'Kill 'Em All' box set.
