Just in time for St. Patrick's Day and Paddy on the River, we enlisted the help of a Hudson Valley Irish dancing school to teach us how to do a simple Irish jig.

Kiera Scott from the Oster-Kelly School of Irish Dance took on the biggest challenge of her teaching career, getting Meat Sandwich to do a jig. The Boris & Robyn Show's producer isn't exactly known for his coordination. In fact, a recent attempt to teach him how to "twerk" resulted in less-than-spectacular results. So we had our doubts that anyone could get him to jig, even though he was clearly dressed for the part.

Regardless, Kiera decided to press on and give our little leprechaun a try. You can check out his progress and decide for yourself if the lesson paid off.

Meat Sandwich promises to continue to practice and claims he'll be dancing up a storm at this year's Paddy on the River on Saturday, March 12. Tickets are still available so you can see this incredible sight for yourself.

Thanks to the Kelly-Oster School of Irish Dance for their patience with our clumsy student. You can find out more about the classes and programs they offer on their website.
