HBO’s ‘Girls’ to Feature SUNY New Paltz
The HBO hit series "Girls" season 4 will premiere this Sunday night at 9 p.m., with scenes filmed locally here on the campus of Suny New Paltz.
Scenes that were filmed at Suny New Paltz will air one week from Sunday on Jan.18.
A production crew along with the star and creative force of "Girls" Lena Dunham filmed at the campus in New Paltz this past July.
The series, which has millions of viewers, and has won Emmy's, and Golden Globe awards follows the lives of young women in New York. On the show, the character gets accepted into a workshop at The University of Iowa. They used the campus at Suny New Paltz to replicate The University of Iowa.
