Michael Lee Roberts was told by police that he couldn't park his vehicle on the sidewalk outside of the county jail. Not too big on an issue, right? Considering that this story takes place in Florida...well.

Roberts had parked is SUV on the sidewalk outside the Hernando County Detention Center in Brooksville, FL. When police told him he had to move, for the fourth time, Roberts instead backed the SUV into a bench before driving wildly around on the jail lawn.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office:

Roberts suddenly turned the vehicle around and headed back toward the building, in the grass, and took aim at the deputy’s patrol car. At the last minute, Roberts abruptly turned to the left, continuing in a full circle, striking the flag pole.

The security video shows that once his brief lawn ride comes to an end he’s quickly yanked from his SUV and placed under arrest. WPLG Local 10 reports that Roberts was booked in the same jail on charges of criminal mischief and two counts of resisting an officer without violence.
