Children's Medical Group is undergoing some exciting new changes that will completely transform the patient experience.

Monday was the last day of operation for the Children's Medical Group office in Modena. At the beginning of December, that location will be replaced by a new office in Highland. The brand-new construction at 550 Route 299 will be bright and airy, much like Children's Medical Group's new Poughkeepsie location that opened in June. The clean, new building is expected to be a welcoming environment for patients.

While the building and location are all new, the important things will all stay the same. All of the staff from Modena will be moving into the new Highland location, so you're sure to see the same friendly faces when the doors open on December 6. Recently, another Ulster County location had its own remodel. The Kingston office has been completely renovated and is now fully open to patients.

Ulster County isn't the only section of the Hudson Valley that will see improvements to Children's Medical Group. We just learned that the Fishkill office will be next on the list for a full renovation. That office closed temporarily on December 8 and will reopen in early 2022 when work is complete. Those who frequent the Elm Street office know that additional patient rooms have been added over the past couple of years. Apparently, that's just the beginning of the exciting changes coming to that location. Those who frequent the Fishkill office should plan to visit other Children's Medical Group locations nearby.

Right now, Children's Medical Group is taking appointments for the COVID vaccine for children five and older. For information on where to get the shot, check out childrensmedgroup.com or call 845-452-1700 for a full list of offices and holiday hours.
