Carve a Pumpkin To Benefit Pets Alive
If you listen to The Boris and Robyn Show, you already know that we are big fans of Pets Alive, the no kill animal shelter in Middletown. In fact, every year we hold a pet costume contest to help Pets Alive. This year it's coming up on Oct. 28 at Petco in Poughkeepsie.
And here is another fun way you can help Pets Alive. It's the Pumpkin Carving and Painting contest. Grab your paints, paintbrushes, carving tools and a pumpkin and help Pets Alive celebrate the season. Drop off your Pumpkin entry at Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road in Middletown, from now through Oct. 29. It's only a $5 entry fee per pumpkin entered. All entry fees are a donation and will go towards care for the animals. Winners will be announced on Oct. 31. Prizes will be awarded by age and category.
If you would like more information about the Pumpkin Carving and Painting contest, or if you would like to find out about other fund raisers and how to make a donation, visit their website at http://www.petsalive.com/.
