The Buffalo Bills are putting the last touches on a deal that will make Rex Ryan their next Head Coach, according to ESPN.

The deal will be for 5 years, and Ryan will make $5.5 million per year. The Bills had a second interview with Ryan Saturday night.

The Bills have interviewed 12 candidates since Doug Marrone opted out of his contract on Dec.31.

Ryan has spent the last 6 years with the NY Jets, going 46-50, and helped New York reach the AFC Championship Game in each of his first two years.

Ryan along with GM John Idzik were both fired on "Black Monday" after the Jets went 4-12 and missed the playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.

Rex Ryan becomes the first coach to change teams within the same division since Bill Parcels went from the New England Patriots to the NY Jets.

The Bills finsihed with a winning record this year for the first time since 2004, but they have not made the playoffs in 15 years, which is the longest active drought in the NFL.
