Three Dutchess County residents are accused of forcing their way into a neighbor's apartment and beating the victim.

Monday around 5:30 a.m., City of Beacon Officers responded to Colonial Road for a report of a neighbor dispute.

Upon arrival, officers determined that two men and one woman forced their way into a neighboring apartment door and assaulted the resident.

The suspects were identified as 39-year-old Latesha C. Sellers, 35-year-old Wesley A. Sellers, and Mark A. Lunsford, 54, all of Beacon.

Police say after forcing entry into the apartment the group damaged the inside of the apartment. Sellers is accused of kicking a second apartment door, causing damage to the door but was unable to gain entry to the apartment.

Wesley and Latesha Sellers then allegedly fled the scene but were eventually located by City of Beacon Officers in the Colonial Springs complex.

All three were charged with 1st-degree burglary and 2nd-degree assault, felonies. Wesley Sellers was additionally charged with 2nd-degree criminal mischief, a felony. Latesha Sellers 4th-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Lundsford was also charged with 3rd-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
