100-Year Old NJ Man Kills Wife With Ax, Then Kills Himself

A 100-year old man reportedly killed his wife with an ax as she slept, then killed himself in the bathroom with a knife. 

Michael Juskin, 100, and his wife, Rosalita, 88, lived in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. It is still unclear what sparked the murder-suicide. The motive for the crime is under investigation.

Police found the couple after a relative, who was not in the home called authorities. Authorities do not believe that there was anybody else in the home when the attack took place.

Neighbors say, that the couple was always together, and putzing around. Rosalita loved to tend to her garden. For the most part the couple kept to themselves.
