We circle back to performances from Metallica, Genesis, The Clash, and much more on this week's edition of the WPDH Soundcheck.  Sunday night at 10pm on 101.5 WPDH and on the WPDH app.

Metallica's performance is with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and was recorded in April of 1999 at the Berkley Community Theatre.  It also was the last time Jason Newsted was heard on bass.

The performance of "The Clash" was from Shea Stadium in Queens in October of 1982.  The recordings were discovered by frontman Joe Strummer while he was in a process of moving.  The Clash opened up for "The Who" for 2 nights back in 1982, this was the second show and it was recorded thankfully.
