Santa will be out and about in the Hudson Valley long before he comes down the chimney in the early hours of Dec. 25 to load up gifts under the Christmas tree.

From malls to tree lighting ceremonies to community Christmas parties, we've compiled a list of spots where you can find the big jolly guy in the weeks leading up to Christmas and get a photo with him.

The Arlington Holiday Festival on Saturday, Dec. 2 runs from noon to 6PM. Pictures with Santa will be available.

Santa will be at the Christmas Tree Farm Saturday, Dec. 2; Sunday, Dec. 3; Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10 from 11AM to 2PM.

Wagon rides are available 9AM to 4PM on those days.

Madava Farms will host a pancake breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9, Sunday, Dec. 10, Saturday, Dec. 16 and Sunday, Dec. 17.

Dining reservations are available for 10AM, noon and 2PM.

The cost is $18 for adults and $13 for kids under 12. Toddlers 3 years old and under are free.

The Village of Fishkill holiday party and tree lighting takes place Sunday, Dec. 3 from 2:30PM to 4:30PM. The event features pictures with Santa, crafts for kids and a petting zoo and ends with the tree lighting.

The Hyde Park Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held Sunday, Dec. 3 from 4:45PM to 6PM. Santa will arrive by police car for an early visit with the kids.

Kevin McCurdy's Holiday Spirit Festival is open Fridays from 6:30PM to 8:30PM, Saturdays from 4:30PM to 9PM and Sundays from 6PM to 8:30PM in December.

The attractions are also open Thursday, Dec. 21 from 6{M to 8:30PM and Friday, Dec. 22 from 6PM to 9PM.

See the elves' workshop, stroll through a North Pole Village, see the enchanted forest of lights and meet Santa at his house.

Photos with Santa are available Nov. 18, 2017-Dec. 24, 2017.

Soukup Farms will host milk and cookies with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10 from 10AM to 4PM.

Take pictures with Santa, enjoy a craft area, enjoy Mrs. Claus' reading corner and eat at the outdoor smores pit.

Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11AM.

The price includes coloring book and crayons, a full breakfast buffet and special holiday ornament craft and pictures with Santa.

The Town of Wappinger will hold a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 5PM to 7PM. Santa will arrive to see the kids.

A pet photo night will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5-7PM with proceeds going to benefit Bark for Life.

The Polar Express returns to Kingston Nov. 17 through Dec. 28.

The train ride inspired by the hit Warner Bros. film features characters from the movie come to life and a visit from Santa during the trip to the North Pole.

Frosty Fest at Headless Horseman Hayrides and features Candy Cane Lane, Frosty's Enchanted Forest and Santa's North Pole -- including a visit with Santa.

The West Point Holiday Show will take place Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday Dec. 3 at 1:30PM. The event is free and Santa will be in the lobby after the concert to pose for pictures.

Santa will be available for photos at the Galleria at Crystal Run Mondays through Saturdays from 10AM to 9PM with breaks from 1PM-2PM and 5PM-6PM. He will also be available from 11AM to 6PM with a break from 2PM to 3PM.

Pick out a tree, see farm animals and reindeer and meet Santa on weekends from 11AM to 4PM

Christmas in the Village will be held Dec. 3 from noon to 6PM.

Come see Santa by the fireplace, take a stroll down Candy Cane Lane and enjoy holiday entertainment in The Playhouse.

A $5 donation at the door is suggested. All proceeds go toward the Museum Village Education Program.

The South Orange Family YMCA will host an afternoon with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1PM to 3PM.

Help spread the holiday cheer by donating a new unwrapped toy for their toy drive.

The Sugar Loaf Community Foundation in partnership with the Sugar Loaf Methodist Church will bring an old-fashioned holiday celebration to town on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 12:30PM to 4:30PM. Photos with Santa will be held at the church at 3:30PM.

Callicoon will hold a children's Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1-3PM. The event will feature arts and crafts projects, cupcake decorating and pictures with Santa for a nominal fee.

The Livingston Manor Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will host a holiday party featuring Santa at 1PM.

Mahopac Middle School PTO will hold a holiday craft fair and charity game show on Saturday from 10AM to 4PM.

Do some holiday shopping and get a photo with Santa. All proceeds go to charity.
