What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

While the temps will take a bit of a nose dive this weekend, here are some events that are worth throwing that jacket on and heading out to.

Saturday, October 17; 4-9: The Mechanicstown Fire Department will hold a benefit Spaghetti Dinner and Tricky Tray at the firehouse on Victory St. In Middletown for Andrew Stephens. He is an honorary member that was recently voted in and is a young boy suffering from a rare cancer.  All proceeds will go to help Andrew and his family to help with their expenses. Admission is Adults $8, Seniors/children $5.

Saturday, October 17; 12-5: The 3rd Annual Howl 'O Ween Pet event and Fundraiser will be held at the East Fishkill Community Center. There will be food, fun, pony rides, and various vendors. Don't miss the pet costume contest at 2:30. Proceeds will go to help Furry Friends Pet Rescue.

Saturday, October 17; 10-2: Family BBQ and Open House at the YMCA of Sullivan County, 98 Wild Turnpike, Rock Hill. The YMCA is holding an open house at their new building to introduce the community to the programming they have available for everyone.  The event will feature a family BBQ, family activities, arts & crafts and hiking.

Saturday, October 17; 5 pm: 13th Annual Woodstock Fine Art Auction at the Woodstock Artists' Association and Museum, 28 Tinker Street, Woodstock. 250 Lots Including: Historic Woodstock Art Colony art, American and European oil paintings, watercolors, sculpture, fine prints, mid-century modernism, ceramics, and contemporary art.
