Tuesday, January 5: Rock n Roll Birthdays

We'll call today (Jan. 5), the hair metal edition of rock n roll birthdays. Happy Birthday to singer Ted Poley of Danger Danger (52), former L.A. Guns bassist Kelly Nickels (54), and ex Ratt, current Black Star Riders bassist Robbie Crane is 47.

Ted Poley is best known for his work as singer for the 80's hair metal band Danger Danger. The formed in 1987 out of Queens, NY. The band achieved some success in 1989 with the release of their self titled debut album Danger Danger on Epic Record. The album featured the hits "Naughty Naughty" and "Bang Bang" and the band saw some exposure on MTV's Headbanger's Ball. The band would go on to tour with bands like Kiss, Alice Cooper. Extreme, and Warrant.
