Ok, there is a program with the City of Kingston (2022 Empower Kingston Clean Energy Jobs Training Program sponsored by Communities for Local Power (CLP)) and SUNY Ulster. With this program, participants (limited to 20) will get introductory on-the-job training (and mentorship) in the areas of geothermal, heat pumps, solar panels, and more.

So the program is limited to 20 people, who can apply for the program? Any restrictions?
