Visiting the 2018 New York Renaissance Faire

Here's a recap of my time at the New York Renaissance Faire this year.

This was my third year in a row attending the New York Renaissance Faire on behalf of WPDH. As always, it was a fantasy filled good time.

This time around, I threw some knives that actually hit the target. I've tried every year, and really stunk it up. During my visit this year, I also had the pleasure of meeting the Queen!

Attending the Renaissance Faire and meeting the Queen is quite the honor, especially for a lanky guy wearing a radio t-shirt.

The joust was very entertaining, equipped with showmanship and humor as well. I highly recommend attending the faire. It allows you to escape the real world, and you get to throw sharp things, so there's that.

The New York Renaissance Faire is open Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday through September 30th.
