A Sullivan County man is facing felony rape charges following an investigation. 

The New York State Police Troop F Child Abuse Unit have announced the arrest of Yermia “Jeremy” Solomon, 25, of Woodridge, NY.

Over the course of the investigation it was determined that Solomon engaged in sexual relations with a minor who was less than 17 years old at the time.

Solomon was charged with Rape in the third-degree (Class E Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Official Misconduct.

Solomon was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

An Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

Solomon is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
