When the Hudson Valley Renegades kick off their season on June 17 fans will have some unique, new menu items to choose from at the concession stand.

Teri Bettencourt, director of food and beverage at Dutchess Stadium, tells us that some new foods will be added to the growing menu of popular dishes that have Renegades fans coming back for more.

Be on the lookout for the Crackerjack Burger, which will be making its debut this year. The 6oz Angus beef burger is served on a pretzel roll that's encrusted with Cracker Jacks. The twist on a classic burger is filled with caramel aioli, bourbon bacon, pepper jack cheese and a steak sauce. And keeping true to the Cracker Jack tradition, the sandwich even comes with its own prize.

Fans will also be happy to know that a favorite dessert, the Hudson Valley Apple Blossom, will be back. It's a cinnamon croissant donut, filled with ice cream, caramel, apple crisp, hot fudge, whipped cream and toffee crunch.

Bettencourt's Southern Hudson Comfort sandwich was recently nominated as best stadium food in the country. The unique dish is described as a Belgian waffle baked with scallions, bacon and cheddar. The waffle is generously topped with chicken tenders, crispy bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and finished off with a honey bourbon BBQ sauce.

When asked which menu item was her favorite, Bettencourt told us that it's the hot dog. This year the Renegades will be serving a Hebrew National dog that's even bigger than the one fans were treated to last year.
