A court ordered no-knock search warrant led to a major drug bust in the City of Newburgh and the arrest of a 61-year-old man.

On Thursday, the City of Newburgh Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a court ordered no-knock search warrant on the 2nd-floor on 79 Courtney Avenue in the City of Newburgh. Police say the warrant was issued as a result of community complaints of drug dealing in the area.

Investigators recovered 45 grams of crack cocaine, 496 glassine envelops of heroin, and 15 grams of marijuana. Close to $1,000 dollars was also recovered.

61-year-old James L. Lennon, who lived at the apartment, was arrested. He was charged with four felony counts of narcotics possession, two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and one count of marijuana possession.
