If you're worried about overcrowded areas, the one thing to keep in mind is that American's are having  far fewer kids nowadays.

In fact, one report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that American woman are having fewer kids than have in the past thirty years. The report said the rate of birth was "down 2 percent from 2016 and the lowest number in 30 years."

The NY Daily News says the birth rates have been on decline since 2014.

In 2017, about 92,000 less babies were born than the year before, but the downward trend isn't exactly new.

Some reasons why the birth rate is falling include everything from change in attitudes with younger American adults (or Millennials), to more use of contraceptives.
