In a $300 million rebranding move, all current Price Chopper locations will eventually change their name to Market 32. According to the Daily Freeman, the Schenectady-based parent company Golub Corp. announced that the changes will begin in the spring of 2015 and include expanded food-service options, more products and a re-emphasis on customer service.

The first conversions will be made at the company's stores in Saratoga County, and in Pittsfield, Mass., according to a press release from the company. A second round will begin over the next 18 months at 10 to 15 stores. More than half of the company's 135 stores will be renovated in five years.

Market 32 will incorporate certain elements of the Price Chopper brand, including Price Chopper brand products, the Fuel AdvantEdge program, double coupons and e-coupons, the press release said.

The chain has stores locally in Saugerties, Catskill, Poughkeepsie, Hudson, Newburgh, New Windsor, Middletown and Matamoras, Pa. Information was not immediately available as to whether or not any local stores will become Market 32 locations during the initial five-year renovation period.
