Police say that Mr. Ding-a-Ling was up to more than just selling ice cream to little kids.

According to the Post Star, Charles A. Ross has been arrested after police received complaints about the man photographing and following girls in his ice cream truck. And this is not the first time people have complained about his actions.

Back in June police received complaints about the 57-year-old man's behavior while selling ice cream in Lake George. Ross was allegedly photographing children from inside his ice cream truck.  Because it's not against the law to take photographs of people in public, he was not charged. However, the Mr. Ding-a-Ling ice cream franchise was notified of the complaints.

The ice cream company apparently did not take action against Ross. Instead, he was allowed to continue operating the ice cream truck. Police say the Mr. Ding-a-Ling driver's behavior escalated when he began following children in his vehicle and photographing them once again. Girls aged 12 and 13 say the man was taking pictures and videos of them as they were walking near a middle school in South Glens Falls.

Because Ross was allegedly following the young children while photographing them in public, police say they can now charge him with stalking, which is a felony.

Aside from the stalking charges, Ross was also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police are still investigating what Ross was doing with the photographs he took of the children.
