Police: Man Shot in Hudson Valley Supermarket Parking Lot
The incident occurred just after 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
On Sunday, at approximately 2:35 p.m. East Fishkill police responded to assist the state police in an incident in the parking lot of the ACME supermarket in Hopewell Junction.
A man suffering from a gunshot wound was located in a vehicle, and the injury was not life-threatening.
The state police are continuing the investigation, and assure residents that there is no threat to the public.
East Fishkill police stated in a Facebook post, "that people not speculate on the incident and await a formal press release from the State Police."
