Police: Man Arrested Twice in One Week For Drug Charges
A Columbia County man must like the way handcuffs feel, as he was arrested twice in a matter of days on drugs charges.
On December 31, 2016 Jason A. Pothul, 36, of Hudson was arrested for Petit Larceny, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pothul was arrested by Columbia County Sheriff's after he was accused of stealing from the Greenport Wal-Mart. He was also in possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance. Pothul was issued appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
One would think the story ends here, but not in this case. It seems as though Mr. Pothul must enjoy being arrested.
On January 5, 2017, Pothul's vehicle was stopped by Columbia County Sheriff's, where deputies found Pothul to be in possession of heroin, and schedule 4 prescription pills. Pothul was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.
