A 29 year-old woman told police she had entered the subway station at East 59th Street and Lexington Avenue when she saw a man smoking a cigarette.
The story takes a darker turn after the woman says she saw the man following her towards the platform carrying an ice pick. Thankfully, the woman eventually exited at the 42nd Street Times Square station without any harm. Still, this must have been a frightening ordeal to have to go through.

What's really odd is that the menacing man was reportedly wearing a Christmas tree skirt. There no word if he had simply lost his jacket or maybe he's just a total wack job, but police need your help finding this evil elf.
He's described as a black male, approximately 5’3″ and 145 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion. Police say the skirt he wore was covered with pictures of snowflakes, presents, an elf’s hat and a teddy bear.
