A long investigation led to the arrest of two Newburgh men who were allegedly found with over $15,000 worth of cocaine. On Thursday around 6:40 p.m., the City of Newburgh Police Department and New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit conducted a search warrant at a storefront located on Broadway in the City of Newburgh.

The search warrant was a result of a several month long investigation into alleged drug sales from the store.

Officers searched the location and seized approximately 113 grams of cocaine, $3,700 in cash and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia including false bottom cans, which are often used to conceal drugs, police say.

Daryl Q. Johnson, AKA Daryl Q. Maise, 53, and 50-year-old Heath S. Black both of Newburgh were both charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

According to Business Insider, one gram of cocaine has a street value of $150.
